CNS on the Air for its Centenary!

To help City of Norwich School celebrate its Centenary, Norfolk Amateur Radio Club is pleased to present 'It’s a Wireless World', an interactive working display of the story of radio, from the first Morse transmissions to voice, television and data, culminating in the latest mobile phone which combines those technologies.

As well as this display in the Media Studies Computer room we will also have a live Radio Station on Air with the special unique callsign GB1CNS which will make contact with other amateurs and maybe even Old boys from CNS from around the world using many different radio bands and modes.

Everyone of every generation welcome! The display will be open to everyone on Saturday April 2nd and to students and teachers only on Monday April 4th. Norfolk Amateur Radio Club meets every Wednesday evening in the 6th form centre at City of Norwich School.
