Last week a group of Year 10 students enjoyed a behind the scenes tour of the Waitrose branch on Church Lane in Eaton. The focus was on healthy eating and food safety. After a comprehensive tour of the shop and the warehouse, students and staff enjoyed tasting products from the Waitrose Love Life range – the prune juice resulted in a few raised eyebrows but all agreed that carrot and orange juice was a great combination! Our thanks go to our hosts, Melanie and Jason, and all the staff at Waitrose who made this visit possible.Students are now working on developing healthy menus to prepare during lessons.
