The Christmas Concert will be in the Arc Auditorium at 19.30 on Wednesday 7/12/11
Tickets can be obtained from the school finance office, price £3, concessions for students on the door.
Charities Week
This year the focus for Charities Week will be to raise money for 'Nelson's Journey'. Further details to follow.
Message from Mr Nixon
Can I firstly offer my personal thanks to the large number of people who turned up for the Parents' Forum on Tuesday evening. In groups we discussed key issues from the Parents' questionnaire, and then went through some possible strategies which could be put into the School Improvement and Development Plan. It was a very valuable session.
We are now into December, a crucial month in the school calendar. Any time that a new initiative or a tightening of policy is introduced at the beginning of the school year, I always ask 'What do you think it will look like in December?' It is important that, as a school we continue to set homework, follow the CNS lesson, mark books and all the other 'basics' that I have been emphasising recently. Learning walks will continue right up until the last day of term to monitor our progress against the Ofsted action plan.
